Time for a real change

NEITHER of the three wise men (George, Dave and Nick) will come bearing false gifts this Christmas, if I can help it.

I’m fed up with the weekly bickering between Messrs Brown, Cameron and Clegg, when they should be united in getting the country out of its terrible mess.

The country needs a strong leader of a fresh party to put the Great back into Great Britain — someone not afraid to show the rest of the world that we are no longer a soft touch.

I’ve had enough of posturing polticians who perform in the Commons and before the media like bit-part actors seeking fame and fortune.

I was not a great fan of Margaret Thatcher because of her attack on the working classes (ie miners etc), but at least she showed great strength as Prime Minister.

I hope that everyone uses their vote at the coming General Election, as a low turnout would not truly reflect the nation’s true feelings.

The future of this country lies in the hands of the electorate. But will it be brave enough to bring about one of the biggest political upsets in history? I can only hope.
